Problem
Description: When attempting to open the
BioMeridian software a user receives the error “Interbase Reported Problem
#104”.
Why:
This error is caused by a conflict with Interbase or Borland
Steps to
Resolution: The first step to correct this
problem is uninstalling Interbase or Borland to do this:
1.
Shut down interbase if it is
running – see article (Turning
Interbase on and off)
2.
Open My Computer – C Drive –
Program Files
3.
Delete the folder Interbase
4.
Delete the folder Borland
5.
Empty the recycle bin
6.
Start the software
installation
7.
Select – Expert Single Upgrade
Options
8.
Select – Install Interbase and
BDE only
9.
Complete the installation –
restart the computer
If this does not
correct the problem run through a full
software uninstall
Additional
Suggestions: Maintain a backup copy of your
database and avoid installing third party applications on your computer.
